I was very careful not to break any seals or do anything that would
void the warranty.

Though I'm assuming that I'm going to need to provide some sort of
original receipt or proof-of-purchase to prove the drive is still
under warranty, which unfortunately I may not have.

I just moved about a month and a half ago and a lot of old receipts
and invoices went straight to the dumpster rather than come with me. 
I'm afraid the invoice for this drive may have fallen victim to the
same fate.  I've been unable to locate it thusfar.
