The closest I have seen is that when you go to the google groups page,
the ads on the page somewhat reflect what groups you are subscribed
to. But as with most Google things, the advertisers don't see who you
are, they just hope to get the click throughs, which is how google
makes most of of it's money.

RIght, so what is all the fuss about? As a member of the old Quadra
list which was combined with all things 68K into the Vintage Macs list
on Google, I have not noticed any real change in the delivery or
posting to the list. I just had to update the filter in Mail to send
the new list responses to the correct folder and that was it.
