Ooopse! forgot about jim there!
Then again, when I started playing accessible games I had a narrower
deffinition of what a computer game actually was, and it wouldn't have
occurred to me to count something like computerized versions of board or
card games for some very odd reason.
I now of course know better, ---- but I agree Tom.
I'm not a huge fan of E-mail heckling or petitions, but maybe some sort of
contact from the community to Justin would be vaguely in order, sinse we
certainly miss the in put of new games, and even Liam, ---- who has a coding
job has proved that development and jobs aren't mutually exclusive, ----
even if developement does have to slow down somewhat.
Beware the Grue!

Hi Dark,
Yes, I have to agree somewhat. I started playing accessible games earlier
than you, and back when I started there was ESP, GMA, BSC, Jim Kitchen,
and a couple of others. Well, in that time I've seen a lot of developers
and potential developers come and go. ESP has been turned over to
Draconis, BSC hasn't produced anything really new in years, L-Works and
Blind Adrenaline has started up, PCS and GMA are still going at it now and
then, and so on.It is constantly changing, but those I thought who were th
leaders back then, like BSC, aren't really producing any more. Oh, there
have been updated versions of their games for Windows Vista, foreign
language versions, but beyond that not anything really new. I understand
since as you say Justin has a job, but still a bit disappointing to see
one of our better game companies just stop producing new titles.

It is funny, when i started looking into audiogames I sort of had a sense
that the main developers were Bsc, Gma, Lworks, Draconis and Vip
gameszone.
Now, two of those have virtually dropped off the map as far as new games
go. I admit, i could be (and hope I am), surprised again, --- as I have
been on several occasions when a games company i thought wasn't working
anymore have pulled something great out of the bag, ---- like Gma and vip
mud, or indeed (much as it pains me to admit it), Usa games when Tom
first released a stable version of stfc.
In all the time i've been playing audiogames though sinse 2006, Bsc games
have only made one rellease, ---- and that was troopanum 2 in Spanish.
While I admit only a short time ago I'd have probably said the same thing
about Gma, It does seem Bsc games have vanished a bith.
while I understand Justin has a job, it is rather a shame that there's
absolutely no! way he can develope games at all, ---- even if at a slower
pace the way people like Liam (and indeed Jason of Entombed), are doing
currently.
the stuff they developed was top of the range a few years ago, ----
now though, I'd have to say in terms of commercial companies their being
slightly superseeded by the work of people like Che martin and Liam.
That's why though I'd love to see another release from them, --- to up
the anti a bit more.
Beware the grue!
dark.
