Dark, All I can say is such a braille display would rock. I know one of the things I like about the GMA Engine is you can braille maps of the levels in Shades of Doom, Packman Talks, etc to get an idea of how the level is laid out. Plus figure out where you are and where you've been. I'd love to have a braille display with at least 80 columns and 60 rows so that I could view a textual map in computer braille.
Unfortunately, a decent 80 cell display costs as much as a car which is impractical for most people who don't get one through their vocational rehab center. I'd imagine a braille display that could show a full page of text would be outrageously expensive. So don't see that happening anytime soon. As faras speed goes you have a point. I usually have Eloquence cranked up to about450 words a minute. There is no way on earth I could read that fast in braille. However, its a personal choice if someone wants to have that kind of speed or slow down a bit and read it themselves. Cheers!
