I recall another play where Brantley scrambled and got sacked, and two or three OL threw their arms up in disgust.
I know Meyer believes in different treatment for different players, but it looks like it's come back to bite him. There needs to be a fine balance between giving a guy some slack because he's produced for you in the past, and giving a guy slack just because he's a good soldier. We've completely lost that balance. --Jong ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stephen Manuel" <srman...@bellsouth.net> To: gatortalk@googlegroups.com Sent: Wednesday, December 1, 2010 1:11:46 PM Subject: RE: [gatortalk] Re: [gatornews] GatorNews From The Gainesville SUN For 11/30 at 7:00AM, Courtesy of Shane Ford In the F$U game, Jordan Reed came in the game and we went right down the field looking like a real offense, insert Brantley who immediately threw an interception. I saw Carl Johnson in Brantley’s face after that and I can tell you from Johnson’s demeanor he wasn’t inviting Brantley to a party after the game, he was PO’d and rightfully so. -- GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us
