Hi, Even if a mentor was involved in some commercial way I don't see that as an issue if it was disclosed. Having a mentor that's involved in the project may mean that they stay around for longer and are more involved. The only issue I see if that relationship ended the project may loose a mentor, but that's a risk with all mentors.
