"Status Quo" is right.

When I was the (reluctant) chairman of the group, I had to repeatedly ASK
people what they wanted to hear about. Not in a long letter...because they
get confused and lost....in a short, to the point letter:

O.K FOLKS: WHAT DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT?

and I would ask them to copy the list. Then after ten or twelve people
responded, I made up another letter, with a list of topics that said:

O.K. FOLKS: WHO CAN PRESENT ON THESE TOPICS?

Those two letters, with minor changes, were repeated several times in my
"tenure". Between talks generated by those lists, NUN nights, install
fests, planning meetings and "guest lecturers", we created the monthly meetings.

O.K. FOLKS: IT IS UP TO YOU. WHAT DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT?
