I find that not to be the case. In my example of the kid that moved to FL and helped someelse install a box. The kid that moved was a musican by trade and in no way would qualify as a PC geek. But he got it installed and then began learning about whatever app it was he was most interested in to begin with and eventually absorbed enough knowlege to do an install himself.
