The app simply logs the gps coordinates of the iPhone user. they can
access the gps data from a website created by the iphone.

WiFi access is available for the user who has the iphone no login
required. the iphone simply displays the ip address in which the user
can access the page with the google map.

Both the paid and free version feature the google map. the only
difference is the paid version can store more waypoints.
