The data is not displayed on the device as the iphone SDK is too restrictive. thats why the application creates a web server and shares the data with a java applet + google map. the user access the web server through wifi connection between the iphone and a computer.
"A test to see if it meets the terms of free use. How can I access it, can you post the URL to your webpage here? " No i cannot because the web server is local to the wifi network. IS a possible solution to host the google maps on a public accessible website and pass gps data in the query string. the java applet then loads the google map in an iframe.I would prefer to host the google map locally.( dont have to maintain a website and save on costs) On May 27, 4:52 pm, Gregory Short <[email protected]> wrote: > No, I'm not associated with anyone else on this forum that I know of. > It's simply relevant to my project. :) > > -G > > On May 27, 2009, at 10:06 AM, Andrew Leach wrote: > > > > > > > On May 27, 3:58 pm, Gregory Short <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Fair enough.
