I've been mulling this over the past couple of weeks, and now I want to retract my initial objection about Jetty :) Mainly because, as Arthur and others pointed out, it's expected to speed up unit tests (which would be a huge win). And you don't need -noserver for most of the unit tests you might want to run - the default settings should be sufficient. Therefore this is one area where even the "-noserver" crowd can benefit from a faster embedded server.
