Dear Pierre,

For roman antiphonale. Current situation is catastrophic. There is no
more rithmic information in current edition of roman antiphonale, and no
neumatic data as in graduel triplex is available

That's very interesting, I note it in the "why" section of the future document.

I think that neumatic notation should be included in gabc file
A(gabc&nabc)ve(gabc&nabc....
and some script or "external" tools like http://gabc.romanliturgy.org/
would allow to work on 3 or more "files" simultaneously.
That is , the best of the 2 worlds.

Oh, that would be a very good idea! It just stroke my head: in order to facilitate the work, there should be a split script in addition to the merge script! Something that will make

A(gabc&nabc)ve(gabc&nabc)

turn into two files, one with gabc and one with nabc, and also a script that will make a template from a gabc file, meaning it will turn

A(gabc)ve(gabc)

into

A()ve()

so that you can fill it with nabc and then merge it with the gabc file once you're done, this would prevent many errors!

What do you think?

I suggest that we use more gregowiki and for that 2 pages are open :
https://www.tol.fr/tolwiki/doku.php?id=gregowiki:language for language
https://www.tol.fr/tolwiki/doku.php?id=gregowiki:fonts for fonts

Thank you!
