G: Traveller has been set in the Imperium after the old little black
book era of Classic Traveller. They started around 1116 or so. The
book you have, G: Trav - Interstellar Wars, happened about 3000 years
earlier, IIRC, when the Terrans encountered the Villani's Ziru Siirka.
The games as published would be:
G: Traveller - Interstellar Wars
<2000 years or so>
Traveller4 by Imperium Games
<1000 years or so>
Traveller by GSW (Classic Traveller of the Little Black Books)
Either of the below take place starting around 1116:
Megatraveller by GDW
