Yes, indeed. The place where I could go for while-you-wait service on my Bernina is gone, and I had to wait about a month to have it fixed. (Have to say, though, that is the first time in 12 years it needed really serious service, knock on wood.) My backup machine isn't nearly as spiffy as a Viking, though.
