Popups are just one of the things we can use. Unintrusive ads usualy don't get much attention most of the time, so it will mostly take up space rather than generate revenue.
Another good way of generating revenues is getting some sponsers. This can be done in exchange for some of the vast knowledge people have here regarding Linux and computers in general. Sponsers like IBM, Sun, other software companies that are related to UN*X and Linux in Israel and so on. Put a banner to their site and perhaps get some hardware, bandwidth, web space or whatever from them. These sponsers will be more than just one timers that pops up whenever there is a gathering of some sort. It will be more like an adoption :-) I don't really know, but is Actcom helping more than just in Hamakor gatherings, for example?
