Strange... It means that 1/3 of my friends should have Win9x... But I can not recall such large number... just one or two. Can you give a link to this statistics?

I've checked other sites with OS statistics and they mostly report 4% of Windows 9x (for example, [2]), so I think you're right and the number of Windows 9x users is really low and the statistics I've found first reported wrong numbers.
