..hence the appeal of a pobox.com account, which just forwards on to whatever account you feel like using that week, and the people sending you mail -- friends, family, collegagues, companies, and yes spammers -- don't have to come across that problem, as the address never changes from their point of view.

On the flip side, it also seems to mean you're a nice stable target for spammers, but SpamAssassin can at least keep that down to a dull roar most of the time....
