  Quick!  Can someone tell me which is older---Mac OS Tiger or Mac OS
Jaguar?  

  I remember a bunch of years ago a Linux module that would convert the
version number to a string like "Bloody screaming penguin" or "sodding wet
ocelot" or some crap like that.  Amusing for maybe five minutes, but useless
otherwise.
