The question is whether make should be ported at all. For building HelenOS, we were considering Waf: #518 Switch to Waf build system http://trac.helenos.org/ticket/518 Of course, the situation is more difficult in case of the ported software which requires make. Maybe we could use PyMake: https://github.com/mozilla/pymake Or try porting the real make. Or something else.
