I also made a post like this in the past, but then regarding stuff like
that a server owner could just add a dns entry in the server.cfg , if it
matches the ip the person is connecting to it would just save it in the
server browser of the client. As in, if ip is no longer valid failsafe
would be to check on ip again.

Anyways, tons of people suggested and tons more will follow but when will
this be finalized is the question. With steampipe coming too, would it be
so much to ask? I think I asked last time for a Christmas present to have
this.. but all I got was lousy crates :P

I made long ago the suggestion for another tab in the server browser, that
shows the servers of the steamgroeps people are member of.

Then owners of Steamgroups can set Server IP's in the steamgroups, and
clients won't lose their Group servers from their favorites.

This also gives room to clients managing their own group and listing
servers.
