to clarify, I don't mind using an external MIDI keyboard to write chords
with, and I've never really gotten into auto-chords on any of my gear.
It's just that for drum programming and for a lot of monophonic samples I'd
rather be able to step sequence. That's what annoys me about the su700, you
don't have a step sequencer display from what I can work out, you can only
record in realtime.
What's this new thing Yamaha are coming out with that is like an Rm1x/A3k
put together? (more so than the su700 is)
Is it very easy to import sequences into the RM1x from a computer?
I've always thought it would be really cool to have a computer based app for
a hw-seq that let you chop up midi files and drag them around to make a
whole 'program' or whatever it calls it. Anything like this exist yet?
