Can't you add chords with a external midi keyboard though? Back in the day I
got a DJX and I used it to hook up to the RM1x midi for doing some strings
and such and it works well.
It's also another way to get another set of effects so you're not stuck with
one variation. But, the DJX isn't worth buying just for those few things.
