You can set the channels you don't want to use to a "null" voice:
1. go to voice mode
2. set bank = drumkit (MSB=126)
3. move the curser to bank LSB
4. press the YES/+1 button (changes bank LSB from 000 to 001)
The only problem I've had with this is that the rm1x always responds to
program change messages (anybody know a way to turn this off?), so if there is
ever a PC message on the channel, it will reselect a normal voice.
