if you've got an AMT8 i suggest you use that to filter all the midi-channels
you want the RM1x to NOT respond to...this way you don't have to set this on
the RM1x..

and if you don't send any midi-data to the RM1x on the channels you don't
use it won't use polyphony because no notes will play..
