I know.
But AFAIK it is not possible to send two values.
So the immediate choices are either to send the presentation form, or
send nothing.

A long term choice is to add the possibility to send lam+alef.

I don't think so, the plural in "the letters" is because there are various
possibilities, but not because you can use multiple ones at a same time.
