My memory said west and I should have said EAST. Sorry about that. Getting into
the airport at 1130 at night and renting a car and with no map finding myself
out there I thought someone had put drugs in my drinks. The interview (for god
unknown reason) was carried out at 0630 in the AM. AFter I got back to where I
lived I got a half hearted apology about the whole middle of the night thing
but
the best I could figure out they didn't want the russians to know about the
interview. I would never ever have taken any job that couldn't be discussed
even
with IBM. I vaguely remember a 1 square mile of homes (where you were expected
to live) as there was nothing but desert for about 20 miles(maybe more my
thought processes were so jumbled that it could have been on the moon (except
there was gravity and there was O2 )

"Desert west of LA"? As Marisa Tomei said in My Cousin Vinny, "Are you
shooo-ah??" Maybe they shot you full of happy-juice and took you to
Area 51, then made you forget most of it...
