"It depends" on what you mean by the term "mainframe printer", since
nowadays even a Dymo Labelmaker can be a "mainframe printer". If by
"mainframe printer" you mean something like a 1403-type device, then
"probably not"; but I haven't even *seen* a 1403-type device in over a
decade.
