DASD labels of @@@@@@, ¢¢¢¢¢¢, and /* */ are all valid and may trip up a syntax that allows comments on the same line as non-comment statements. I'd strip out checking for the cent sign too and go only wit h full line comments. Perhaps a new DDR statement called COMMENT would be appropriate and obvious. Brian Nielsen
