It might be, but CP and Linux are not, so the waters aren't all that muddy after all. We really don't want to try to look behind the illusion that storage arrays present to the CEC. That's a real rat's nest that would be too difficult to keep up with over time, which is why the illusion is presented in the first place. Mark Post
