actually i810 looks to be supported since XFree 3.3.6

you need to use i810 driver instead of the generic VGA
that you are using. it must be listed when you are
running xf86config. when it asks you that would you
like to see the database of graphics cards, say yes.
you can also manually edit your XF86Config by reading
a bit on this page
