01. often, simply orienting the monitor in another direction also
works. faraday's hand?

02. a condenser or a coil inside the monitor might be growing weak.

03. transferring monitors from one location to another tends to create
this. some monitors have magnets inside to align the guns, and these
can easily get dislodged or misaligned. so it is never a good idea to
move monitors around.

04. try a degauss if it's available, though this tends to work better
with color-casts. nevertheless, would help in some cases with flicker
problem.

do not use the monitor if it flickers so noticeably. different people
have different physiological responses to refresh rates. you may
damage your eyes.

one obvious test: borrow another monitor, connect it in the same place
with the same orientation, and see if it flickers. then you can
isolate the problem, whether it is EMF or just your particular device.

try step 01) first.
