I understand your points, but it would certainly be an huge inconvenience. 
And as someone else noted the bloody things weigh 50 lb.

I live in Tokyo - I use trains. I don't have the option of putting the 
thing on the car seat and driving off to the local repair shop -- unless I 
hire a taxi.

Well, I certainly respect your opinion, but I would think it "naive" to 
ignore the fact that a lot of people are having a problem with the eMac 
monitors. How many - well, it would be up to Apple to give us an accurate 
figure. Until they do (maybe they have - I don't know) we have the Internet 
effect. A problem that may be small, is magnified.

Meanwhile, the bondi blue is still dead. I can't believe a firmware upgrade 
would completely disable a computer. If I had known there was a risk I 
would never have attempted it.

Can someone tell me the difference between a motherboard, logic board, 
analog board? I suspect the motherboard and logic board are the same, but I 
want to make sure.
