>Won't the 800s backstep to 400? I know usb 2.0 will backstep to 1.1. I'm not sure. I know it is a different connector, but for some reason I think I've seen someone selling an adaptor. As to if it works both ways (800 device slows to run on 400 port, and 800 port slows to accept a 400 device) I can't say.
