I like to browse through my mail with the mail program laid out like
so.....mail folders on the left....received mail at the top and
preview pane at the bottom. If I don't see a posting of any sort of
a reply, it just doesn't get read. To me, if it isn't posted at the
top....I'm not going to read it. And, despite what anybody wants or
prefers.....I post at the top...so, if you don't want read my top
posted replies....tough! That's how I LIKE it and that's how I'm
going to do it. Now if there's some written LAW posted in some
hidden corner of the internet that I've never been to that says I
can't top post, please show it to me and I'll certainly change. But
until that happens, I top post.

I've never understood the purpose of bottom posting myself, other
than to possibly remind you to delete the extra footers, but if it
is to make tracking context easier, then does that mean that one
shouldn't also be deleting all the previous replies to the previous
replies? Personally I find it easier to read with the newest on top
(like gmail does it) and if I want to know what they are referring
to, I can scroll down or go back to the beginning of the thread.
