Title: RE: [imail] little bug?
Relaod the machine!
We have a site that is currently handling around 730 000 users.....

Our machine is a quad PIII 733(with hot swapable cpu slots and redundant supplies)
1.5 Gig Ram
Backed by a MSSQL7.0 server
All data for all the machines are connected via 2xmicro-channel devices to an Arena 5000 Raid server with 2.8 Terra bytes storage (all storage drives are IBM 73 Gig devices running raid N +1)
Backup is performed via a juke box consisting of 25 Pannasonic df-103 DVD Ram drives.

Basically if you are looking at doing things right, well quite frankly it can be done with IMail.....just start out right!!!!

We took well over 3 months to set this whole lot up and it will most likely take you just as long, if you are looking at a proper job! (not to mention the fact that we also had a building burn down a few months back!!)

Subject: Re: [imail] Free email service

We would offer free email service if we could get the HKSI EZSignup Utility to work, but have never got that to function properly. The techs at HKSI even tried VNCing into our machine, and even then couldn't figure out the problem. Any ideas?

Anybody offering free email through Imail 6.0?
Is it possible?, i do own that utlity that lets me add users through an ASP script,
but what happens if you have over 500 users...will it bog down the server ? i know
it all depends on server processor , ram , etc... If any of you run a free email service
please let me know how well imail is handling it.

Thanks.

If there any other software to do this that you guys know about please let me know about it too.
