I had this with a client recently using Netscape. Same problem.
Dialed in through us, no problem. Dialed in to another provider,
he gets disconnected when he clicks on the Main box. We
actually solved it by going to Control Panel | Internet Options
Connection Tab and disabling the "Always Connect Using Default"
and then un-checking "Automatically detect settings" under the
Advanced Tab.
Netscape still relies on the IE functions for connection information.
It appears that for some odd reason it was actually disconnecting
him from his current connection then attempting to dial his default
connection.
May not be the case with your user but after a few attempts we
figured this one out on his.
