Can you please forget the Netscape thing ! Thanks.
It's happening in ALL clients. Outlook2000 internet, Outlook Express,
Eudora and Netscape.
No the customers are NOT in the address list. How can they be, they are on
dynamic IP addresses. They use SMTP AUTH INSTEAD .... that's what it's for.
I realise it is hard to diagnose, but there are more and more people joining
in to this discussion with 'that's also happening to me'
Sometimes a user sends a message successfully at 11AM, then when the same
uses the same mailbox 10minutes later to send to the same recipient the mail
server refuses the username and password. Restarting the SMTP service
allows the user to pass through.
