Kelly,
Since our decision to move from sendmail to IMAIL for the reason that
sendmail did not support SMTP AUTH, we have learned that sendmail now DOES
support SMTP AUTH and for $99 sendmail.com adds SWITCH.
I realise this is radical, but we've now lost too many customers because of
IPSWITCH not admitting to their bug.
Our decision has been:
- Use the Mailbox features of IMAIL.
- Use the MTA of Sendmail with switch and SMTP AUTH
Unfortunately this requires a new machine to be installed with Linux and
Sendmail, but I can't lose any more customers and Sendmail CAN handle the
load, and DOES !
If you want to do the same thing, I could help you out with the
configuration, but not on this forum. IPSWITCH can rot in their own
problems. If they are too ignorant to see the problem, and too stubborn to
admit and fix the problems then they are headed down the drain.
