Don,
Then contact your provider and work with him on the settings! If he says
that this happens to other users, then it could be something at his end. If
only you and your cable modem, then it sounds like you are suffering some
conectivity lose (a guess!). Maybe an MTU issue, too. Cable modem are often
setup like regualr modems and MTU issues are more common in that setting.
