Before I can proceed with the restore I honestly need some more info about
the relationship between imail hosts and physical folders.
In the old i-mail folder there was a physical folder representing each host,
and under that a user folder with user accounts for that host.
Under the new setup, I've so far re-created three hosts which show up in the
imail administrator but no corresponding host-folders showed up under
c:\imail. There is just one master user folder with the accounts I've
created so far. But although there are multiple users with the same name -
e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED] -
there is only one folder for john under users.
That makes it very difficult to apply advice I received earlier about
recreating hosts, copying over earlier userfolders and choosing an option to
reclaim 'orphans'.
Please help me out.
Oh and by the way, if anyone is looking for new definitions of hell I've got
one here. The experience of having to answer the phone and get yelled at
every two minutes by irate customers while trying to restore a large number
of mailuser accounts.
