Can you explain why you would need to do that?

Say your internal IP address is 10.10.10.10, and your external address 12.12.12.12.  
If the firewall changes the 12.12.12.12 to 10.10.10.10, the IMail server (or anything 
else on the machine) shouldn't need to know about the 12.12.12.12 IP address, right?

Our server is inside a firewall, and has a separate internal/external IP address, but 
we don't have a problem with it.
