To answer Len, no the messages have not left yet. I was able to telnet in as
well and vrfy an account that I know is there during this period of the
messages sitting in the Q.
To answer Edgardo, I did check the registry and it has the correct address
in it.

first of all, these two line belong to other SMTP- PID's so have
nothing to do with
werusa.com
09:19 14:53 SMTP-(00000900) MX connect fail "205.188.157.3"
09:19 14:54 SMTP-(00000588) MX connect fail "205.188.156.101"
so here's the interest:
>09:19 14:53 SMTP-(00000878) Trying werusa.com (0)
>09:19 14:54 SMTP-(00000878) MX connect fail "209.49.148.98"
and it's ok now:
# telnet 209.49.148.98 25

Probably a temporary network screwup. Has the msg left yet on later
retries??

Is any mail being delivered from the Imail machine? look for
"rdeliver" lines in the imail log. If all is failing, check the DNS
value in the Imail setup to make sure Imail is using a valid ip
address for an operational DNS.
