Could anyone help me out. I just got Imail working and know am having
trouble get mail.send with ASP to work.
I believe I need to change the SMTP port # within IIS, but the snapin in
MMC is not there. I removed and reinstalled and the SMTP service starts but
it does not appear in MMC to change the port. I thought I found the key in
the registry to change the IIS SMPT port (Local
Machine->System->CurrentContralSet->ServiceProvider->ServiceTypes->SMTPSVC)
but when I try to telnet to the new port it is not accessable. Port 25 is
still only accessable
I then tried to stop the Imail SMTP Service and restart SMTPSVC for IIS and
know I am getting a permission denied error from my ASP Page when using
CDONTS. mail.Send
This is really to questions?
1. How to change port for IIS to get ASP CDONTS to work with Imail?
2. Did the Imail install screw something up resulting in a permission denied
error from my ASP Page (Failed on Mail.Send line)?
