Thanks for your comments, I also found another solution: I also installed
NAI Netshield which checks all files on the harddisk. In the event a webuser
wants to attach a file infected with a virus this file gets deleted
automatically by Netshield. Only drawback is that the webuser does not
receive a warning message, he only is unable to attach the selected message
since every time he pushes the button (in the web messasing interface) the
file gets deleted instead of attached.

So not as good as declude but it works. I will keep declude in mind though
for the future.

A classic problem.

No  (your  question  doesn't  even  make sense, if you think about it,
since  there's  an explicit mail loop). The only solution is to run an
IMail-integrated   product:   Declude,   www.declude.com,   and  IMail
Antivirus  both  qualify.  With some tweaks, it's actually possible to
run  Declude  *only*  on Web Messaging messages, so you can keep using
WebShield  if  you have some commitment to it; this isn't the best use
of resources, though.
