I've had somebody installing the IMail.. I've discovered later that
there was no AV at all on that machine.

Putting one and running I've seen a lot of viruses in the mailboxes. But
nothing affecting the machine. I mean the virus.

The only problem was that there being a worm, which started to spread
(from that particular mailbox to the world), is getting a lot of traffic
on the server.

hmmm.. just a thought.. if [EMAIL PROTECTED] opens the infected email,
via webmessaging, will it inturn infect the email server?

A classic problem.

No  (your  question  doesn't  even  make sense, if you think about it,
since  there's  an explicit mail loop). The only solution is to run an
IMail-integrated   product:   Declude,   www.declude.com,   and  IMail
Antivirus  both  qualify.  With some tweaks, it's actually possible to
run  Declude  *only*  on Web Messaging messages, so you can keep using
WebShield  if  you have some commitment to it; this isn't the best use
of resources, though.
