O.K. , now I've been mostly quiet on this thread (except for the 'conspiracy
theory' crack), but I'm starting to see a pattern here.

Josh, your attitude here is pretty indicative of how AOL treats complaints.
You are so quick to degrade, or question the validity of something in which
you know nothing about.  There are 3 things that usually happen when
contacting an ISP (ANY of the large providers..)  They are (in order of
popularity):

1)  You get NO response ( or resolution ) to your complaint.

2)  You get different policies stated to you at every 'phone bounce' that
you get, and ultimately, as in this case, nothing is done.

3)  The problem is resolved as you requested.

I'll have to admit that I have NEVER experienced # 3 when dealing with the
large ISPs.  I have experienced it with small to mid size ISPs though.
Please do us all a favor an stop diverting the issues away from beloved AOL
