That's 2 GB of data per user that has to be constantly read, truncated, rewritten, reread, etc. throughout a webmail session. That is absolutely one of the most disturbing portraits of a userbase gone amok that I've ever read on this Forum! Webmail is not a long-term archival solution. It's not even a short-term file storage solution. It would be unconscionable for me to recommend anything but a full-on policy overhaul from the executive level to attack such a situation.
