Could I get a response on how to do it with IMail in rules as requested and not a Declude Commercial?
I apologize if you feel that it was a commercial.
I wrote two paragraphs. In this first, I supplied a recommendation that would do *more* than what you were requesting, that should work with just IMail v8's anti-spam.
Since you were not posting from an account on your IMail server, and did not specify what anti-spam software you were using, I could not tell if you were using Declude JunkMail. A lot of people on this list are running Declude JunkMail (both with IMail v8 and earlier versions of IMail), and I believe any of them in your situation would have appreciated seeing how to accomplish what you wanted to do with Declude JunkMail. That's why I wrote the second paragraph (and did so in a way that it was clear that I was referring to Declude JunkMail in that paragraph, so you could easily skip over it if you so desired). I would be doing those users a dis-service by not mentioning how to accomplish this with Declude JunkMail.
Also, it's important to note that if I had just explained what to do with IMail v8's anti-spam, and hadn't mentioned Declude JunkMail, many people may have assumed that Declude JunkMail could not have handled the situation better (or that it is the same as IMail v8's anti-spam). Although I am happy to assist people on this list with questions about IMail products/features that compete with ours, it is important for me to do so in a way that makes it clear that they are separate products. If people keep seeing my posts and confuse Declude JunkMail and IMail v8's anti-spam, it's not going to help anyone.
Of course, if at any time either the majority of users on this list (or Ipswitch) feels that my posts are out of line, I would be happy to comply. However, I doubt that is the case presently.
