Yahoo.com to me I have received within the last year over several 100,000 Spam e-mails to all accounts.
I am not a big e-mail provider (Not yet anyway) but I do handle all Spam that comes to my server and to my customers.
They send there Spam to me, and I send it then to "Spam Cop".
On to this message................
Yahoo.com has never been in none of these messages that I have received. Only on 1 occasion.
I ran a test. Set up a dummy account on my server. Went onto Groups.Yahoo.com and basically allowed
To receive mail from the "Yahoo" Partners. In my findings, On this Dummy account,
It received over 50 e-mails in a single week. Though this account was not given to no one else.
I knew that it was mailing "Spam" that was populated from the Yahoo Groups sign-up site.
Not really knowing how other IMail Admin's are receiving Spam from yahoo. Could it be that they
Customers may have "not knowing" but signed up to receive these messages from Yahoo?
As out of the 50 e-mails "Spam" that was received, about 30 of them was from Yahoo. The remainder
Was from there partners.
If this message is out of line, please let me know.
Also, I am not taking up for Yahoo. I am just wondering, as I have not seen no "Actual Yahoo Produced Spam"
Since the Dummy e-mail account was killed.
