Thanks for the response Scott. Instead of pushing the issue with my friend
I am in the process of moving the DNS over my machine (I started this last
night). I thought it was kind of bizarre he was blaming that DNS Report was
faulty. So the best case in this situation is just to move it so I can have
more control to fix any problems that arise.

Again, I want to thank you for DNS Report as it has been invaluable to as
well!

Charles

We've found that people say that occasionally. We even found out that one
web hosting service had a "canned" response to all their customers that
mentioned that there were DNS problems! Needless to say, when I asked them
why they thought the site was unreliable, I got no answer. People prefer
to place the blame on the DNSreport.com site rather than themselves.

That's not to say there can't be problems -- on rare occasions, someone
points out a problem that needs to be fixed. But we are not aware of any
open issues.

What would I do in this case? I wouldn't push the issue with your
friend. He's been given an indication that there are problems with the
domain. He now can decide what to do.
